Common questions

How does billing work?
Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store. New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. Pricing is shown in the App Store at the time of purchase.
How do I cancel?
Open Settings on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → Blurdie → Cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
How do I delete my account?
Two ways: in the app, open Profile → Delete Account, or email support@blurdie.com from the address on your Blurdie account. Either way, we'll delete your account and the personal information associated with it.
How accurate are the course distances and statistics?
Course geometry comes from OpenStreetMap and may be incomplete or out of date. Distances, dispersion, and other stats are estimates built from the shots you log — they're meant for practice, not for professional measurement or competitive play.
How do new courses get added?
Course geometry comes from OpenStreetMap, a community-maintained map. If a course you want isn't available in Blurdie, it can usually be added to OpenStreetMap directly. Once it's on OpenStreetMap, search for it in Blurdie and it should appear.
Does Blurdie work without a connection?
You need a connection to search and download course geometry the first time. After that, most range and play features keep working offline.

Course operators & rights-holders

If you're a golf course operator, architect, tournament, or other rights-holder with concerns about how your property is represented in Blurdie, we'd much rather hear from you directly than receive a formal notice. We aim to be a good neighbor to courses and maintain an exclusion list for locations whose rights-holders have asked us not to display them.
